As a kid, I always loved the idea of fairies and all things related to them. I remember looking through my mom's bookshelf one time and finding a book called "Good Faeries... Bad Faeries" by Brian Froud (the concept designer for The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth). I immediately fell in love with the drawings inside and I've been inspired by it ever since. When thinking about the type of website I wanted to create, that book was one of the first things that came to my mind and I ran with it. Coding this website and seeing it come to life has been such a joy because it really took me back to my childhood. I still remember which fairies were my favorites, and which ones scared me.
